Hi. So i've noticed that whenever i log in to zbp even with full signal, the sound skipps constantly and it usually kicks me off randomly which is quite annoying. could this be down to my network or is the number just not that stable? i'm with orange, but going to switch to O2. i know that most likely won't make a difference, but i thought i'd put it in just in case it did. Hope this can be fixed though, mainly the booting out issue because its great not to have to rely on a computer to talk to talk to you guys.
I used the UK number only yesterday without any issues. but all the access numbers sometimes give some people similar problems, so think it's just something you have to try again and see how it goes.
same. i just used it and the sound was fine and it didn't kick me off either. at least i can send voice mails and such again without having to be on sjphone, which is kind of pointless for me as if i want to talk to someone i could either go on here or skype or something.
Hi, can anyone tell me waht the uk zbp number is calling from a landline? I've tried calling the number as written on the page, minus the 44, the code for the uk. I tried 020 for london, but it apeard to be the wrong number. Am i missing something? KT.
The number if dialling from within the UK is, 02002227093.
HI thanks, i managed to get on and upload my little voice profile, short, but sweet.
hi me yet again, today I managed to get on the zbp but at times I had trouble connecting, does this tend to happen from time to time? i used a cordless phone. But when i tried connecting using my stationary phone it worked. very strange.
yes, this does happen to me now and again calling from a mobile, some times it just will not connect. It works fine for conferences but it does tend to randomly cut me off if I'm trying to send a voicemail. Obviously I dial the London number and just kind of assumed that it wasn't any more expensive than calling your average London number but just wanted to check up on this! I'm with the t-mobile network but I think whatever network your with it would be roughly the same. I just wanted to know if the number is treated as a standard landline call or if it is treated as a chat line or something!
what you need to consider is that you are essentially dialling into a server, so the quality of the call will depend on how much bandwidth is being used at the time. If you factor into the equasion the fact that you are calling from a mobile, whose signal can often be volatile, then that will make for a less-than-crystal-clear experience.
When I use zbp (and this does not happen often), I use a landline, and the quality is much better.
The voicemail problem is a well known issue, and has always happened with the UK number.
As far as I'm aware, all numbers in the UK beginning 02 are considered as regular area codes, and are not charged any differently than any other landline number.
Thank you! that's what I wanted to hear! :)
